Welcome to Our Blog

In the ever-evolving digital marketing landscape, automation has emerged as a game-changer. However, as technologies improve, so do our tools. Enter coreILLA’s new Workflows, a comprehensive upgrade from the previously used Campaigns and Triggers. This article delves into why Workflows are becoming the gold standard in marketing automation.
Workflows are designed to make automation more intuitive and powerful. Unlike the previous systems that required a combination of campaigns and triggers, Workflows integrate these systems into one, streamlining the process. They come packed with features like if/else conditions, wait times, and even Math functions, offering marketers a much richer palette of automation possibilities.

Improved Personalization: The ability to use if/else conditions mean marketing strategies can be tailored to individual clients or situations, making for more targeted and effective campaigns.
Efficiency: By merging triggers and campaigns into a single system, Workflows simplify the automation process, making it more efficient.
Troubleshooting: Workflows come with a status/ execution log. This aids in troubleshooting, ensuring campaigns run smoothly and effectively.
Testability: Workflows can be easily tested during onboarding, ensuring everything is set up correctly before launching a campaign.
Moreover, transferring from the old system is seamless. Campaigns can be imported into Workflows, and triggers can be added, making for a smooth transition.
As technology advances, older features become redundant and are phased out. This is evident in the coreILLA system, where Campaigns and Triggers, once crucial features, have now been superseded by Workflows.
If you don't see Campaigns and Triggers in your sub account, it's likely because the snapshot of the master account used to create the sub-account didn't have these features. For accounts created after November 2021, deprecated features are not visible by default. This move is intentional, as coreILLA is guiding its users towards the more advanced and efficient Workflows.

To provide a clearer perspective, here’s a comparison of supported Trigger steps between Workflows and the older Triggers:
Contact: Workflows support 'Contact Changed' and 'Contact Created' while these are absent in Triggers.
Note: 'Note Changed' is supported by Workflows but not Triggers.
Order: 'Order Submitted' is supported by Workflows but not Triggers.
Media: Workflows support 'Video' whereas Triggers do not.
TikTok: 'TikTok Form Submitted' is only supported by Workflows.
Including these additional triggers in Workflows showcases its robustness compared to the older Triggers.
In the arena of action steps, Workflows again outshine their predecessors:
CRM: While Workflows and Triggers support actions like 'Add Contact Tag' or 'Create/Update Opportunity,’ Workflows exclusively offer actions like 'Add To Workflow' or 'Remove From Workflow.’
External Communications: Workflows allow actions like 'Instagram DM' and 'Manual Call,’ which are not supported by Campaigns or Triggers.
Conditions and Workflow: Workflows are the only system that supports actions like 'If/Else', 'Math Operation', and 'Goal Event'.

The evolution from Campaigns and Triggers to Workflows marks a significant step forward in marketing automation. With their enhanced capabilities and streamlined processes, workflows offer marketers a more refined tool for reaching their audience. With coreILLA leading the charge, the future of digital marketing looks promising.
Can I still use Campaigns and Triggers?
If your account was created before November 2021 and had these features, you could still access them. However, it's recommended to transition to Workflows for better functionality.
What if I already have a Campaign set up?
You can easily import your campaigns into Workflows and add the necessary triggers.
How do I test my Workflows?
Workflows are designed for easy testing during onboarding, ensuring everything works as intended before launching.
Are there any features in Triggers not present in Workflows?
Workflows encompass all the functionalities of Triggers and more, making them a comprehensive solution for automation.
