As part of upcoming improvements to coreSTORE, we will soon be introducing support for cash rounding to align with regions that no longer use the penny. These updates are designed to make cash handling simpler and more accurate for both you and your customers.

Please note: These features are not live yet. This article is provided to help you understand what will be changing once the update is released.

Overview

Many businesses operate in areas where pennies are no longer in circulation. To accommodate this, coreSTORE will soon include a Cash Rounding feature that automatically rounds cash transactions to the nearest nickel (0.05).
